Cytokinetics Announces Positive Phase 3 Trial Results for Aficamten in Non-Obstructive Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy, Published in NEJM

Cytokinetics has announced positive primary results from its pivotal Phase 3 ACACIA-HCM clinical trial of aficamten for symptomatic non-obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (nHCM). The findings, simultaneously presented at the European Society of Cardiology Congress 2026 and published in The New England Journal of Medicine, demonstrated statistically significant improvements in both patient-reported health status and maximal exercise performance. Based on these results, Cytokinetics plans to submit a supplemental New Drug Application to the FDA in the fourth quarter of 2026.
