Measles Cases Rise to 460 in Pennsylvania, Marking First US Deaths of 2026

Pennsylvania has reported 460 confirmed measles cases this year, including 83 hospitalizations and two deaths, which are the first measles-related fatalities in the United States in 2026. None of the infected individuals were fully vaccinated. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) offered assistance, but the Pennsylvania Governor's office declined it.
