"Wellness on Wheels" Mobile STI-Testing Electric Vehicle Launched in South Florida

The AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) has unveiled "Wellness on Wheels," a first-of-its-kind fully electric mobile vehicle in South Florida. This unit offers comprehensive services including testing for sexually transmitted infections (STIs), connection to care for individuals testing positive for HIV, and anytime access to pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) via on-site telehealth visits. The vehicle is equipped with an exam bed, phlebotomy services, a bathroom, vaccination area, and refrigeration for storage, and services are free for uninsured individuals.
