Pulmonary-artery denervation shows promise for heart failure patients in NEJM study

A NEJM study on the PADN-HF-PH trial indicates that pulmonary-artery denervation, when combined with standard medical therapy, reduced clinical worsening events in patients with pulmonary hypertension linked to left heart disease and heart failure. The two-year incidence of clinical worsening was significantly lower in the denervation group. This research suggests a potential new therapeutic approach for a complex cardiovascular condition.
