New Clinical Trial Results Advance Structural Heart Disease and Heart Failure Treatment

Three late-breaking trials presented at ESC Congress 2026 provided new evidence for refining treatment strategies in structural heart disease and heart failure. The ACASA-TAVI trial found NOAC monotherapy after TAVI reduced clot formation safely. TRIC-I-HF showed transcatheter tricuspid-valve repair improved outcomes for severe tricuspid regurgitation, and TAVI PCI indicated TAVI before PCI was noninferior for severe aortic stenosis with CAD. These findings offer significant advancements in patient care.
