Phase III REVEAL Study Shows High Accuracy for New Cardiac Amyloidosis Diagnostic

Detailed results from the Phase III REVEAL study, presented at the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) Congress 2026 and simultaneously published in The Journal of the American Medical Association, indicate that the investigational PET radiotracer iodine 124 evuzamitide is highly sensitive and specific for diagnosing cardiac amyloidosis. The study reported a sensitivity of 94% and specificity of 86% for visual scan interpretation.
