Arrowhead's Plozasiran Achieves Positive Phase 3 Results for Severe Hypertriglyceridemia

Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals announced positive Phase 3 data for plozasiran, an RNAi therapeutic for severe hypertriglyceridemia (sHTG). The studies showed significant triglyceride reductions and a 78% decrease in acute pancreatitis events in high-risk patients. These findings, presented at ESC Congress 2026, suggest plozasiran could offer a new treatment option to reduce serious complications for individuals with sHTG.
