Catheter Ablation for Atrial Fibrillation Shows No Greater Quality of Life Improvement Than Sham Procedure After Six Months

An international study, led by Leipzig University and published in The Lancet, found that while catheter ablation significantly reduces the recurrence of atrial fibrillation, it provided no greater improvement in patients' quality of life after six months compared to a sham procedure.
