Singapore Subsidizes Vutrisiran for Transthyretin Amyloidosis Patients

Singapore has become the first ASEAN country to provide government subsidies of up to 75% for eligible patients receiving vutrisiran for stage 1 or 2 hereditary transthyretin amyloidosis with polyneuropathy (hATTR-PN) and transthyretin amyloid cardiomyopathy (ATTR-CM). This decision, effective September 1, 2026, follows positive results from the HELIOS-A and HELIOS-B Phase 3 studies, which demonstrated significant reductions in neuropathy impairment, all-cause mortality, and recurrent cardiovascular events.
