Ghana FDA Recalls Arcan Bitters Over Undeclared Sildenafil Content

Ghana's Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) has ordered the recall of Arcan Bitters after tests confirmed the presence of undeclared Sildenafil Citrate, an erectile dysfunction drug. Sildenafil can cause dangerous blood pressure drops when interacting with other medications, potentially leading to stroke or heart attack, and other complications. The manufacturer, Unni Associates Company Limited, has been directed to recall the product, and its factory has been shut down.
