The Pennsylvania Department of Health (DOH) has reported a significant update on the ongoing measles outbreak in the Commonwealth, confirming 540 cases across 36 counties in 2026, with 43 new positive cases since August 31, 2026. The outbreak has led to 91 hospitalizations and two measles-associated deaths. The DOH continues its robust response efforts, including administering over 3,700 MMR vaccinations at more than 100 pop-up clinics in affected communities and providing public access to updated information on its dashboard.
