Pulmonary Artery Denervation Trial Results Published in NEJM, Showing Significant Reduction in Clinical Worsening for PH-LHD Patients

Groundbreaking results from the PADN-HF-PH trial, evaluating the Pulmonary Artery Denervation (PADN) System for pulmonary hypertension associated with left heart disease (PH-LHD), were presented at the European Society of Cardiology Congress 2026 and simultaneously published in The New England Journal of Medicine. The multicenter, randomized trial involving 264 patients demonstrated a 51% reduction in the risk of clinical worsening and a 35.5% decrease in recurrent clinical events, alongside sustained improvements in functional capacity.
