Pulmonary artery denervation trial shows positive results for heart failure patients

The PADN-HF-PH trial, published in The New England Journal of Medicine, found that Pulmonary Artery Denervation (PADN) significantly improved outcomes for patients with pulmonary hypertension associated with left heart disease. Adding PADN to standard therapy reduced clinical worsening by 51% and recurrent events by 35.5%. These results offer high-quality evidence for a new therapeutic approach in heart failure management.
