Pulmonary Artery Denervation Reduces Worsening in Pulmonary Hypertension Patients

Results from the PADN-HF-PH trial, published in The New England Journal of Medicine, indicate that Pulmonary Artery Denervation (PADN) significantly reduced clinical worsening by 51% and recurrent events by 35.5% in patients with pulmonary hypertension associated with left heart disease. The multicenter randomized trial, involving 264 patients, also demonstrated a favorable safety profile for the procedure. This offers a new therapeutic option for a serious condition.
