New Recommendations Issued for 2026–2027 Respiratory Virus Season Vaccines

The American Medical Association (AMA) has announced new recommendations for respiratory virus vaccines for the 2026–2027 season. These guidelines, developed in collaboration with the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Academy of Pediatrics, American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and the Infectious Diseases Society of America, are based on an evidence-based review of vaccine safety and effectiveness.
