Nationwide Recall Issued for Epinephrine Injection Vials Due to Cracks and Particulate Matter

American Regent has issued a nationwide voluntary recall for three lots of its Epinephrine Injection, USP (30mg/30mL) multidose vials. The recall was prompted by customer complaints of cracked and leaking vials, which compromise sterility, and the presence of particulate matter including nylon, cellulosic, acrylic, polyethylene, and glass. Particulate matter can lead to serious health consequences, such as blood vessel blockages, clotting, or inflammatory/allergic reactions. The affected lots were distributed between September 2025 and July 2026.
