Study Reveals Molecular Details of Hemorrhagic Glioblastoma

A new study in the Journal of Neuro-Oncology provides genomic insights into hemorrhagic glioblastoma, an aggressive brain tumor. Researchers found intratumoral hemorrhage in 59.6% of 176 patients, higher than previous estimates. Despite molecular distinctions, the study observed no significant difference in progression-free or overall survival for patients with hemorrhagic versus non-hemorrhagic tumors.
