EMA Launches Pilot Program to Integrate Non-Animal Testing in Drug Development

The European Medicines Agency (EMA) has initiated a voluntary pilot program to incorporate advanced non-animal testing methods, such as organoids and computational models, into pharmaceutical research and development. This aims to reduce and replace animal testing, allowing developers to share data with regulators to build confidence in these new methodologies.
