FDA Approves Relacorilant Plus Nab-Paclitaxel for Platinum-Resistant Ovarian Cancer

The FDA has approved the selective glucocorticoid receptor antagonist relacorilant (Lifyorli, Corcept) in combination with nab-paclitaxel for adults with platinum-resistant epithelial ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer. This approval, based on the phase 3 ROSELLA trial, offers a new treatment option for patients who have received one to three prior systemic regimens, including bevacizumab. Serious adverse reactions observed included neutropenia, infections, pleural effusion, and rare fatal events.
