Takeda Publishes Positive Phase 3 Data for Narcolepsy Treatment Oveporexton

Takeda announced the publication of positive Phase 3 study results for oveporexton (ORZEYFUL), an oral orexin receptor 2 agonist, in the New England Journal of Medicine. The data showed significant improvements in narcolepsy type 1 (NT1) symptoms, including wakefulness, sleepiness, and cataplexy, with a consistent safety profile. Oveporexton is already approved in several countries and aims to treat the underlying cause of NT1.
