American Regent Recalls Epinephrine Injection Lots Due to Particulate Matter and Sterility Concerns

American Regent, Inc. has issued a nationwide voluntary recall of three lots of Epinephrine Injection, USP 30 mg/30 mL (1mg/mL) multi-dose vials. The recall is due to concerns about particulate matter and potential lack of sterility, which could lead to serious adverse events including vascular blockage, clotting, organ damage, or death if injected.
