WHO Western Pacific Region Commits to Bridging Health Workforce Gaps for Emergency Response
Over 100 health emergency experts from 56 institutions across 21 countries in the World Health Organization (WHO) Western Pacific Region concluded their annual regional partners' meeting with a commitment to strengthen emergency workforce capacities. This initiative aims to advance regional emergency readiness and resilience by addressing critical technical gaps, including cybersecurity, critical infrastructure resilience, water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH), environmental health, and biological and nuclear emergencies.
