Federal health officials are preparing to declare an end to the largest cyclospora outbreak on record in the United States, which has sickened over 11,000 people across 20 states and resulted in two deaths. The outbreak was linked to Taylor Farms iceberg lettuce sourced from central Mexico. The CDC has officially declared the outbreak over as of September 11, 2026, with the FDA confident that all recalled lettuce is off the market.
