FDA Approves New Cabozantinib Formulation for Multiple Cancers

The FDA has granted final approval for OMCAZIO (cabozantinib) capsules, a new formulation of the targeted cancer drug. This approval allows its commercialization in the U.S. for adults with advanced kidney and liver cancers, and for adults and children 12+ with previously treated neuroendocrine tumors. The new formulation offers increased dosing flexibility as it can be taken with or without food.
