Psoriasis Treatment Tildrakizumab Shows Potential to Partially Reverse Epigenetic Aging

A 52-week open-label trial revealed that tildrakizumab-asmn (Ilumya), a treatment for psoriasis, reduced a mortality-linked DNA methylation clock by up to 0.5 years. This effect was observed concurrently with the clearing of psoriasis symptoms, suggesting potential implications for understanding and addressing epigenetic aging in patients with psoriasis.
