CDC Declares End to Massive Cyclospora Outbreak Linked to Iceberg Lettuce

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has announced the conclusion of a widespread Cyclospora outbreak, which was traced to contaminated iceberg lettuce from Taylor Farms de Mexico. The outbreak led to 12,883 confirmed illnesses across 21 states, with 570 hospitalizations and two reported deaths in Michigan. The CDC confirms that the contaminated products are no longer available, while the FDA's investigation into the source of contamination is ongoing.
