Multi-State Cyclospora Outbreak Concludes After Affecting Thousands

The CDC has declared the multi-state Cyclospora outbreak, linked to contaminated iceberg lettuce, officially over. This outbreak sickened 12,883 people across 21 states, leading to 570 hospitalizations and two deaths. While the contaminated lettuce is no longer available, the FDA continues its investigation into the root cause of the contamination from Taylor Farms de Mexico.
