FDA Approves Telix's Pixclara, First FET-PET Imaging Drug for Glioma
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved Telix's Pixclara (floretyrosine F 18), an amino acid positron emission tomography (PET) drug, for imaging gliomas (brain cancer). This is the first FDA-approved FET-PET imaging drug for glioma, intended to help physicians differentiate recurrent or progressive glioma from treatment-related changes in adults and pediatric patients.
