Phase 3 Trial Shows Improved Survival for New Small-Cell Lung Cancer Treatment
Results from the Phase 3 TAISHAN-302 trial, presented at WCLC26 and shared by NEJM, indicate that treatment with tambotatug pelitecan led to longer survival and progression-free survival compared to topotecan in patients with relapsed small-cell lung cancer after chemotherapy. The investigational antibody-drug conjugate also showed a lower incidence of adverse events of grade 3 or higher, suggesting a potential improvement in both efficacy and quality of life for patients.
