Phase 3 Trial Shows Iberdomide Doubles MRD-Negative Complete Response Rate in Relapsed/Refractory Multiple Myeloma
Results from the phase 3 EXCALIBER-RRMM trial, published in The Lancet Oncology, indicate that iberdomide (Zenbexus) combined with daratumumab and dexamethasone (IDd) more than doubled the rate of minimal residual disease (MRD)-negative complete response compared to daratumumab, bortezomib, and dexamethasone in patients with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma. This makes iberdomide the first CELMoD to receive approval for multiple myeloma.
