Eli Lilly's Retatrutide Shows Significant Weight Loss in Phase 3 Trial for Type 2 Diabetes and Obesity

Results from a large Phase 3 trial, published in The Lancet, indicate that Eli Lilly's investigational drug, retatrutide, led to an average weight loss of nearly 21% in individuals with type 2 diabetes and obesity over 80 weeks. The findings were also presented at the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD) annual meeting.
