Eli Lilly's Retatrutide Shows Promising Results for Weight Loss and Diabetes Control

Eli Lilly's Phase 3 TRIUMPH-2 trial results indicate that retatrutide, a triple agonist, significantly aids weight loss and glycemic control in adults with obesity and type 2 diabetes. Participants on the highest dose lost an average of 18.8% of their body weight over 80 weeks, with nearly half achieving a loss of at least 20%.
