Clesrovimab Effective and Well-Tolerated for At-Risk Infants in Second RSV Season
A new study has demonstrated that clesrovimab, an RSV preventative, is effective and well-tolerated when administered to at-risk infants in their second respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) season. This follows previous findings that a single, long-acting dose provided similar protection to monthly palivizumab injections in the first RSV season. The findings address the need for data on clesrovimab's use in a second season for children who remain at increased risk for severe RSV disease.
