Kexing Biopharm's Investigational IBD Antibody, GB20, Approved for Clinical Trials in China

China's National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) has granted approval for Kexing Biopharma to begin clinical trials for GB20, a novel anti-TL1A monoclonal antibody aimed at treating inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Preclinical studies suggest GB20 could offer a dual mechanism of action, suppressing inflammation and delaying fibrosis, potentially leading to longer dosing intervals.
