Kenya Reports First Confirmed Ebola Case

Kenya has reported its first confirmed case of Ebola (Bundibugyo virus disease), with the patient subsequently dying in Nairobi. The individual had traveled by land from the Democratic Republic of Congo to Uganda, then onward to Kenya. Doctors Without Borders (MSF) is coordinating with the Kenyan Ministry of Health on the response, including contact tracing.
