Clarity Pharmaceuticals Completes Recruitment for Phase 2 Prostate Cancer Trial, Plans Phase 3 Study

Clarity Pharmaceuticals has met its recruitment goal for the main group of its SECuRE trial's expansion phase, which investigates a copper isotope therapy for advanced prostate cancer. The company is now planning a registrational Phase 3 study. Early efficacy data from 19 participants showed substantial falls in prostate-specific antigen (PSA) levels and disease control in a high percentage of evaluable patients, with most treatment-related adverse events being mild or moderate and short-lived.
