WHO and ASCO Collaborate to Improve Global Cancer Care

The World Health Organization (WHO) and the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) have formally partnered to enhance worldwide access to quality cancer care. This collaboration will focus on building capacity for oncology professionals, increasing access to cancer clinical trials, and strengthening care quality and availability, particularly in low- and middle-income countries. The initiative aims to address global disparities in cancer treatment.
