Philippine FDA Issues Public Health Warning Against Unauthorized Cosmetic Product

The Philippine Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued Advisory No. 2026-1526, warning the public against the purchase and use of the unauthorized cosmetic product “NHC MANICURE NAIL POLISH (FIT ME) COLOR 188”. The agency cannot assure the quality and safety of this product as it has not undergone the necessary notification process, potentially posing health risks such as skin irritation, anaphylactic shock, or organ failure due to undeclared or contaminated ingredients.
