President Trump Establishes NIH Women's Health Division and White House Task Force

President Donald Trump signed an executive order creating a dedicated Women's Health Division within the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and establishing a White House Women's Health Task Force. This initiative aims to expand biomedical research and streamline the translation of clinical findings into medical practices for female patients across all life stages, addressing diseases and conditions that disproportionately or uniquely affect women. The new division will coordinate with the existing Office of Research on Women's Health to close scientific gaps and accelerate therapeutic applications for conditions such as endometriosis, maternal health issues, heart disease, autoimmune disorders, and menopause.
