Oculis Reports Encouraging Biomarker Data for Optic Neuritis Treatment

Oculis Holding AG announced positive translational biomarker data from its Phase 2 ACUITY trial of Privosegtor for optic neuritis. The data indicated that Privosegtor reduced increases in plasma neurofilament light chain and glial fibrillary acidic protein, suggesting decreased neuroaxonal injury and suppressed reactive astrogliosis. This provides objective evidence supporting the drug's potential neuroprotective effects.
