BioNTech and Gilead Collaborate on Phase 3 Trial for Triple-Negative Breast Cancer Treatment

BioNTech SE and Gilead Sciences Inc. have formed a clinical trial collaboration to evaluate pumitamig combined with sacituzumab govitecan (Trodelvy®) as a first-line treatment. This combination targets locally advanced or metastatic PD-L1 low or negative triple-negative breast cancer. The global Phase 3 ROSETTA Breast-01 trial will be adapted to incorporate this new standard of care, aiming to improve outcomes for patients with this aggressive cancer type.
