Singapore Issues Health Advisory Due to Unhealthy Haze Forecast

Singapore's National Environment Agency has issued a health advisory for October 24, 2026, predicting Pollutant Standards Index levels ranging from Moderate to Unhealthy (90–140). The advisory recommends that healthy individuals reduce prolonged outdoor physical activity, while vulnerable groups like the elderly, pregnant women, and children should minimize such exertion due to smoke haze from Sumatra. This impacts public health and daily activities.
