HUTCHMED's SAFFRON Trial Shows Positive Lung Cancer Treatment Results

HUTCHMED's global Phase III SAFFRON trial demonstrated that combining ORPATHYS® and TAGRISSO® significantly reduced disease progression or death by 45% and mortality by 32% in specific lung cancer patients. These findings, published in The New England Journal of Medicine and presented at ESMO Congress 2026, extended median overall survival by nearly five months, offering a new treatment option for MET-driven EGFR-mutated lung cancer.
