New Drug Significantly Reduces Recurrence and Death in Advanced Endometrial Cancer
A landmark international Phase 3 study has shown that sacituzumab tirumotecan (sac-TMT) significantly decreases the recurrence of and death from endometrial cancer. In women treated with sac-TMT after immunotherapy, there was a 41% lower risk of cancer progression and a 32% lower risk of death compared to those treated with standard chemotherapy alone. This establishes sac-TMT as a new standard treatment, offering improved outcomes for patients with recurrent endometrial cancer.
