Victoria Reports Increase in Anaphylaxis Cases Linked to Unapproved Peptides

Health authorities in Victoria, Australia, have issued an advisory due to an increase in anaphylaxis notifications associated with unapproved peptide products. Since July 2025, 13 cases of anaphylaxis have been reported, including a cluster of five cases in the second half of September 2026. Most individuals had no prior history of anaphylaxis, underscoring the significant and potentially fatal safety risks of these unapproved substances.
