Atrium Therapeutics Initiates Phase 1/2 Trial for PRKAG2 Syndrome with ATR-1072

Atrium Therapeutics has dosed the first patient in its Corventis Phase 1/2 trial for ATR-1072, a small interfering RNA (siRNA) therapy targeting PRKAG2 syndrome. This rare autosomal dominant glycogen storage disease of the heart currently relies on symptomatic management, and ATR-1072 aims to address the underlying genetic cause by silencing the mutant PRKAG2 mRNA in cardiac tissue.
