BD Launches Liverty™ TIPS Stent Graft in U.S. for Portal Hypertension Care

BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) has announced the U.S. commercial launch of its BD Liverty™ TIPS Stent Graft. This next-generation transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt (TIPS) system is designed to offer physicians greater flexibility in tailoring treatment to each patient's hemodynamic needs for complications of portal hypertension.
