A study published in Science indicates that Microsoft's MAI-DxO artificial intelligence model surpassed human physicians in medical diagnosis accuracy. The AI achieved an 83% accuracy rate in NEJM case conferences, significantly higher than the 36% for physicians using references, and also performed better in emergency department scenarios.
