Abbott Initiates Pivotal CROWN-MV Trial for Investigational Cephea™ Mitral Valve System

Abbott has commenced the CROWN-MV pivotal trial to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of its investigational Cephea™ Mitral Valve System. This minimally invasive device aims to treat symptomatic mitral valve disease in patients who are not candidates for surgery or transcatheter repair, including those with mitral regurgitation or mitral annular calcification. The study will enroll up to 585 individuals across the U.S., Canada, and Europe.
