Sacituzumab Tirumotecan Plus Pembrolizumab Shows Longer Progression-Free Survival in Advanced NSCLC

A phase 3, open-label, randomized trial published in *The New England Journal of Medicine* evaluated sacituzumab tirumotecan plus pembrolizumab versus chemotherapy plus pembrolizumab in patients with previously untreated locally advanced or metastatic nonsquamous non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) without targetable genomic alterations and a PD-L1 tumor proportion score of less than 1%. The study found that sacituzumab tirumotecan plus pembrolizumab significantly extended median progression-free survival to 15.0 months, compared to 5.7 months with chemotherapy plus pembrolizumab.
